Our Students

Aden Kepford
My name is Aden, and I am currently completing my Master of Counselling Psychology at City University of Seattle in Edmonton. I hold an Honours Bachelor of Health Science in Biology from the University of Western Ontario, which informs my understanding of the many factors that shape well-being.
I have experience in community-based social work, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in finding meaningful employment, as well as coaching youth and adults in badminton, where I focused on goal setting and long-term development.
In my work, I aim to create a space that feels steady, respectful, and open. I do not see people as problems to be fixed; rather, I believe thoughts, emotions, and behaviours make sense within the context of one’s life. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, grounded in the belief that clients bring valuable insight into their own experiences.
I view therapy as a place to slow down, make sense of what matters, and take steps toward meaningful change. I draw from a range of approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. My goal is for clients to feel heard, supported, and less alone as they move toward the life they want.

Breann Fitzpatrick
My name is Breann and I am completing my masters in counseling from Yorkville University. I completed my bachelors of Psychology from Concordia University of Edmonton. My own positive therapy experience is the main reason for entering this field. My goal when working with clients is to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where clients feel comfortable to explore their concerns and work towards meaningful change. I believe in taking a collaborative approach with clients in order to help identify their strengths and become more aligned with their goals and values. I use an eclectic approach, drawing on different modalities to create a custom treatment plan that is suitable for an individual's unique needs. I look forward to meeting with you.

Drew Knox
I am a practicum student in the Master of Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from MacEwan University in Edmonton. I bring experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and have a strong interest in supporting clients as they navigate complex emotions, life transitions, and personal challenges. I believe counselling is a supportive and non-judgmental space where individuals can safely explore difficult feelings while also recognizing their strengths, capacities, and unique ways of being.
My approach to counselling is integrative and collaborative, allowing me to draw from multiple therapeutic frameworks to best support each client’s individual needs and goals. I strive to meet clients where they are at and work alongside them to foster self-understanding, resilience, and meaningful change. Whether you are seeking support for mental health concerns, relationship challenges, or personal growth, I am committed to providing a compassionate and respectful environment that supports your journey toward well-being.
